The study will be an exploratory case study where an in-depth analysis of the teachers’ perceptions of implementing PBIS in a classroom setting will be conducted at Falling Creek Middle School. An exploratory case study involves investigating distinct phenomena characterized by inadequate preliminary research and can have hypotheses that can be tested on a specific research environment (Suarez & Wright, 2019). Since the current study entails collecting information from teachers through interviews and documents exploratory case study is an appropriate research design to be utilized. The research involves conducting a detailed analysis and an ability to prove an in-depth knowledge of the teachers perception of PBIS implementation in class. The research will draw a conclusion based on the interviews and documents and explore the respondents urge to create conducive learning environments in an exploratory way.
