Students should critically examine an area or theme within Outdoor Education that we have touched upon in class (nationally or internationally) The area or theme must be recognized within the literature and research of outdoor education.
The term ‘critically examine’ means that you should first examine the area/ theme in detail, investigate it and establish the key facts and issues relating to it.
The ‘critically examine’ means that the area you analyze should be examined from all perspectives and in the end you need to make a judgment as to whether the area/theme has a positive or negative impact on Outdoor Education.
The essay should have an introduction, middle and conclusion. It should be coherent and intelligible. It must contain citations to key literature within Outdoor Education (Books or Journals) to support and validate your argument.
