• Children’s rights (key rights e.g. right to education etc) to reference e.g. Access and inclusion model (AIM) more discussion about AIM is required on how it influences children’s education and their rights, UNCRC, UN convention, Inclusion charter etc.
• Right to participate, Link your understanding to Laura Lundy’s model of child participation and any other relevant policies and theory to support answers e.g. Aistear, Siolta Vygotsky, must include Montessori theory etc.
• Be specific and give examples that relate to children’s rights in the setting/society and their homes e.g. child that uses a wheelchair AIM can fund the setting in order to build an easily accessible ramp that will improve the child’s participation.
