Assignment Question:
Develop an intervention for an older person that incorporates independence, self-determination and purposeful activity?
Criteria:
- Identify the older person with specific care needs (e.g. older person with dementia, an older person with arthritis etc) in a particular setting ( e.g. nursing home, living at home, day centre)
- Design an intervention to meet their needs that incorporates independence, self-determination and purposeful activity.
- This intervention should come from the social model of care
- Evidenced by best practice principles
- Consider what theories of ageing would influence this intervention
