Analysis of cultural
Political
Historical significance of one of the following: spirituals, sermons, jazz, blues, and rap; concerns with literal, spiritual, and linguistic freedom; concerns for human rights within or based upon protestant theology.
Instructions
Part 1: Discussion – You will choose a topic provided from the above options. Once you have selected your topic, you will post an initial 500–700 word Discussion on the topic. Your Discussion should include substantial, thoughtful, and analytical writing, and must demonstrate correct formal writing style. The initial Discussion is due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday of Module 1.
Part 2: Discussion Feedback – You will respond to at least two classmates’ Initial Discussion threads and provide additional feedback, ideas, or critiques. Each feedback should be between 250–300 words and are due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Friday of Module 1.
Part 3: Assignment Submission – You will submit your final Idea Development Assignment of 700–1,000 words via the Assignment submission link by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of Module 1.
