Organizational culture and readiness assessment
The contemporary world presents numerous threats and opportunities to organizations hence calling for proactive strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. The organization under review adopts the adhocracy culture that promotes creativity and innovation among the employees and the management. Khurosani (2013) postulated that the adhocracy culture promotes cohesive freedom among the employees allowing them to own some activities of the organization.
The organizational culture remains central in determining the readiness of an organization to change and projects. Often, projects come with a change in normal operations in organizations hence attracting resistance. However, Khurosani (2013) positively identified a correlation between the adhocracy culture and organizations’ readiness for projects. The organization is largely ready for the project as it has the right culture that supports learning and creativity among the workers as a project is underway. Besides, the culture is founded on agility and change, thereby creating a suitable environment for the project.
