The study seeks to understand the teachers perception of implementing PBIS as a stimulant to creating a conducive classroom environment. As such, the exploratory case study is appropriate because the teachers who are the actual implementers of the program will offer valuable information on the program. According to Suarez and Wright (2019), an exploratory case study is commonly used in topics that require detailed analysis and understanding of the subject matter. Teachers are the actual implementers of the PBIS program, and therefore can offer preliminary information about its affect and probable implementation strategies, which will be useful in the research. The research design is also appropriate to the study because it enables the researcher to explore and understand the strategies that teachers can adopt to enhance the learning environment.
