Requirements:  Each group needs to complete the following and please do not forget to properly format/set up the essay in the required professional format that has been outlined (tips can be found in the Learning Support Guide):

• A definition of plagiarism must be provided and discussed.
• Discuss how plagiarism is not solely a problem in education although please include some discussion about plagiarism in third level. As part of this discussion please review 2 modern day examples of plagiarism and how this impacts on the public. You can find examples in music, literature, movies and journalism.

Research: Each group is required to submit one typed 2,500 –3,000 word essay on the above topic.  Please be aware the title page, reference page, declaration and table of contents are not included in this word count.  It is expected for at least six relevant sources to be utilised and documented (at least three of them must be books).  In addition, a Reference Page is required as part of the assignment as per the Learning Support Guide and please remember to follow the formatting guidelines that I require and are listed in the Learning Support Guide. Failure to complete these requirements will result in a deduction of marks on the assignment.
