Your group have been assigned to work on the smart Dublin city project to generate a smart idea/application technologically advanced and well-designed to address city needs. You will need to demonstrate that the use of smart technologies can improve city livability and competitiveness.
Assignment Questions
- Describe the type of data you can collect and how you can convert the data to useful information.
- Analyse the type of data such as facts, Structured data, Numeric versus nominal, Unstructured/textual data etc.)
- Discuss how you can integrate online services and digital communication with the citizens into your suggested solution which is based on Data-Driven Analytics. (The use of data from Social media, reviews, forums, customers details etc.)
- Describe how you can improve marketing decisions and reduce city council expenses using data analytics methods.
- 10 minutes presentation of your findings.
