Recommendation #3 – Obtain outcome data from MyLegacy assessments and use testimonials to promote and address the gap raised by consumers. (3,6,9,11)
MyLegacy is a complex application that is able to successfully predict family health conditions based on family health history, but has no proven or published outcomes. The Cleveland Clinic organization has utilized the application with over 35,000 patients and customers, however the outcome data is not available nor published. There are many different publications by Dr. C. Eng, that supports her expertise in the genomic and healthcare field, but showing how the application has been successful would launch MyLegacy into a proven health risk assessment tool arena.
Obtain testimonials from clients, customers and patients that can prove how the application has been successful and proven to be effective.
Publicize the testimonials to promote the use of MyLegacy in prevention of family health conditions.
Utilize the testimonials on the websites and social media to gain exposure to the success of the application.
Develop solid outcome data and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Developing outcome data, testimonials and success stories for customers, clients and patients that have utilized MyLegacy will solidify the application’s use and increase adaptability and acceptability.
