have these learners in a class, we want you to choose a learner without these added needs as you are just beginning
to analyse the reading process. The student may also be an English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EALD)
learner, you will also have such students in your class, but as this is your first time just make sure that the child is
not beginningtheirEnglishlanguagelearning. Wedonotwant tocomplicatethesituationfor you. Thestudent may
be a child of a friend, from a local school, after school centre and so forth. PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE THE
ASSESSMENT ON YOUR OWN CHILD. Please consider permitting your child to read to another student in your
