THE ASSIGNMENT TASK:

Select from one of the following projects.

1. The construction of a new home for the care of the elderly. This facility will include residential facilities for up to seventy residents with all the necessary support infrastructure.

2. The hosting of a music festival due to be held at an open-air venue over two days in the Midlands of Irelands. This project begins when the promoters agree to manage the events. Research should include the planning of all activities leading up to and at the event itself.

3. The management of a requirement campaign aimed at employing 150 new employees at, at least three levels of expertise for a Multinational Company based in Ireland. This project starts when the decision is made to expand and finish when the new employees begin work at the company.

The research will be presented in report form and cover all the following points

A. Describe is the key processes involved in Human Resource Management. Describe the keys aspects of the processes and outline the challenges that might occur at each step on your selected project.

B. Analyze the key Project Risk Management stages that should be considered on your selected project. Describe each of these stages including the tools used at each stage as part of your answer.

C. When a project is being closed there are three deliverables that need to be performed. Discuss how these deliverables would be dealt with on the project selected.
