The difficulties identified with autistic students including, organizational, attention, and multitasking challenges can be best addressed through incorporation of tier 2. The tier focuses on learners that are unable to make significant improvement in the normal classroom, identified as autistic students. The efforts within tier 2 purpose on providing increasingly intensive instruction tailored to the demands of autistic learners centered on the quality of achievement and progress speed (Leach, 2018) on mathematics. As a requisite of the selected tier intervention, the intensity of the intervention will vary on two main aspects. One the frequency, group size, and duration of intervention. Second, the training level of the professionals providing instructions on the intervention. The two facets need consideration to ensure that the intervention meets the goals and objectives of alleviating attention, organizational, and multitasking challenges of autistic students in mathematic studies. The instructions will be provided to kindergarten through grade 3 students with respect to mathematics offered in small-group settings in aggregation with general curriculum instructions.
