Introduction and Overview
The purpose of this qualitative study is to analyze the PBIS program on managing student behaviors as a stimulant to creating a conducive classroom environment and enhancing students academic performance. The PBIS program has been critical in assisting teachers in addressing students social challenges as well as their discipline levels. The problem to address is the need to analyze the PBIS program as a stimulant that creates an inspiring classroom environment and enhances academic achievement. The PBIS program works through interventions and strategies that are set at school-wide and classroom levels to support, manage, and control students’ negative behaviors. Creating a positive learning environment, and enhancing academic achievement requires defining the factors that influence class participation, such as student discipline, social challenges, respect, among others
