All the information above will be collected from archives such as the South Bank Archive Centre, RIBA Library ( Architect Journals, Builder Journals) and the original drawings from the AVA archive
I have also managed to get in touch with the Director of the Company (ARUP) which is in charge of the 3D printing concrete house in Milan, and that has a vast understanding of this new technology. The main aim will be to try to understand the technical side of this new technology and collect enough information this includes:
Journals
Testing process of this new technique
Interview with Luca Stabile ( the director) – I have directly contacted him, and we arranged a date for a chat over the phone as well as responding to some questions that I have trough emails.
Interviews and questioners:
Contact and interview ex-workes that were part of the team during the construction of Southbank
Send questions to ARUP director in Italy ( Luca Stabile)
Research the change of this new technology in concrete
