this kind of philosophy emphasizes subjectivity too much, making the research results subjective, which is not conducive to constructing the overall population situation. Therefore, interpretative attention is not suitable for this study. The purpose of this research is to analyze past objective research and phenomena in the objective reality, to construct the impact of sustainable supply chain management in my country’s manufacturing SMEs, and to explore practical factors that have a greater impact on it. Positivism can ensure the objectivity of the research process and sum up objective experience through a large amount of data. In addition, this theory is helpful to understand the obstacles in the implementation of sustainable supply chain management in my country’s manufacturing SMEs and make recommendations, thereby providing a theoretical basis for future sustainable development.
Research methods
This study will use empirical quantitative analysis methods. Quantitative analysis refers to the analysis of the quantitative relationship between the components contained in the research object or the quantitative relationship between the properties. It can also be used to quantitatively analyze and compare certain properties, characteristics and relationships of multiple research objects (Park & Park, 2016) . The theoretical cornerstone of quantitative analysis is positivism, which emphasizes the objectivity and observability of real objects. The data obtained by quantitative research methods are all true and objective data, which can be calculated and obtained with specific models. At the same time, these data are collected from a large number of samples and do not rely on the subjective judgment of researchers, so the data is objective.
