WADA has maintained that the discussions on these issues drug should start not only from the athletes home by family members but should extend to the training centers. Through this, sportspersons would learn that using performance-enhancing drugs is cheating, not mentioning the kinds of health issues that are associated with such use of drugs (Bates & Backhouse, 2019). Moreover, it can be explained that it is not only the diet but also very stringent training sessions as they are the only way through which an athletes performance can be improved. All these could start in the houses by parents as they bring their children up and upon realizing that these children are interested in sports.
UKAD further reasons that random testing of drugs and individuals in the sports industry will increase the alertness in people so that they do not engage in any of the prohibited drug use. This will also put the manufacturer in high alerts of them being caught up with by the sports bodies like UKAD and WADA (Bates & Backhouse, 2019), hence they will tend to move away from manufacturing these illegal drugs. It is through such measures that UKAD has maintained that PED use will completely be eliminated in the sporting industry (Brownlee, 2004). When these measures are put in place, there would be soon an improvement, either on how athletes and sports persons engage in sports or their overall behavior
