When we look at valuing a company we take many factors into consideration. A company’s value is not just about today’s position, but we need to consider future considerations. In order to fully conduct valuations, we need to ensure we understand the industry in which the company is operating in.

You are to select a company of your own choice and you are to carry out the following analysis;

• Conduct a brief industry analysis using Porter’s Five Forces and discuss the companies positioning
• Evaluate the strengths/weaknesses/opportunities and threats facing the organization and identify any measures the company has taken to overcome them.
• Evaluate their strength against their rivals
• Identify and evaluate one strategic issue facing the company.
