Findings of the Research An evaluation of educational documentation on intercultural integration indicated that there is a significant gap between the state’s aspirations to support inter-cultural education and the provision of applied policies and resources which might support this process. As a result of this policy weakness, schools can avoid enrolling Traveller students. Travellers have little influence in the administration and management of schools and Traveller culture is largely invisible within the curricular content of the Irish educational system
